we're here....

Just wanted to let you know that we made it to Houston fine. Tomorrow at noon is our evaluation at the clinic.

We can't thank you enough for holding us up in prayer, and for all the encouragement and help.

We are so thankful for your safe trip. I will continue my 4:00 A.M. to 4:30 prayer time for you and Steve while you are in Houston. Praying that the treatments will help with Steve's pain and stop the cancer cell growth. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:24. Love You, Aunt Doris

Dear Steve and Sheri,

I join your Aunt Doris in continuing to pray for you daily.

A thought from our ABF lesson of Sunday, 8/3; "In the midst of great trouble, our loving and gracious God opens a door of hope."

Your faith witness is a light in this dark world, and just as Aaron held up the tiring arms of Moses in the sight of the people, we join together to hold up your arms of faith. May God be glorified as is your earnest prayer.
Love,
Bettye

Know that I am praying earnestly for you today, as always. Most of the Scriptures I read, I usually read witih you in mind, looking for what God wants to say to me as you walk this incredible journey. Yesterday I read about El Shaddai in Sunday school. Here is a little bit of what was said: "When we pray to El Shaddai, we invoke the name of the one for whom nothing is impossible. Nothing can prevent El Shaddai, our Almighty God, from carrying out His plans and pouring out His blessings on those who belong to Him. Pain there will be, confusion, struggle and difficulty, but God can use even these to bless us as long as we trust Him." Jer. 32:17: "Ah, Lord God, Behold you have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is impossible for You." I am praying to our El Shaddai, our Almighty God, for you today. I love you Steve.
Praying and Believing,
Kristi
