Monday, July 28

Another day of nausea. He's not been able to eat anything solid. He just now took an anti-nausea med, and is sleeping. We're thinking that it's part of the detox he's going through because of these alternative treatments. We've slowed that down, though. Mainly because he keeps losing whatever he swallows. Please pray he'll be able to eat. He needs strength.

We serve a mighty God. We're praying for a miracle.

"Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness." Psalm 41:1-3

Sheri,
Praying "that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of of God. Now to HIm who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory" Eph. 3:16-20. Standing in the gap, the body of Christ is lifting you up.

Hey Mr and Mrs Warren this is Michelle. I wanted to share something with you both that I read this morning in my devotional book. It was funny because I read it right after praying that God would give you both strength. This is what it said: It is wonderful how glorious that life of faith becomes for him who is content to have nothing. How glorious to feel nothing in himself and to always live on the power of his Lord. He learns to understand what a joyful thing it is to know God as his strength.
And then the scripture that was with it was: But he said to me, "My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you." So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ's power can live in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

May God continue to poor strength, peace, and comfort in your lives. God never puts something on our plates that He knows we can't handle. I love you both very much! My prayers are still going out and will continue to.

Michelle

Prayer For Strength

Give us strength O' Mighty Father God, for we are weak and low.
Give us strength O' Lord, for the times of trouble are upon us!
Give us strength Father God, for you are our high tower! And the faithful one!
Give us strength Father God to walk upright in the world! We pray for strength in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour; Amen.

“Pray continually and never lose heart!” (Luke 18:1).

We continue to pray for strength, relief from pain, and most of all for a miracle.

Dear Steve and Sheri,
You are constantly in our thoughts. Our hearts are breaking for you, and we are praying for you both - for relief from pain for Steve, for God's healing, and for God's peace and comfot.
Please take encouragement from me - I shouldn't have survived after all that happened after my heart surgery - and look at me now!
How great is our God!
Love,
Mike and Dollie

Hi Steve & Sheri,
My heart is still so heavy for you both. I know everyday we all have a cross to bear, I also know that God says we dont have to bear it alone! You talk about the mission field and I see that this is your mission field... you are fighting the enemy, he is trying to take out a mighty man of God... he can't take Steve's life, but he can battle for it becuase he sees what an impact you both are in this life.. God will protect, God will provide and when its all said and done, weather its a miracle of God or God brings Steve home with him...have peace in knowing how many lives you all are touching through this all, how God is using you, your family and the ministry that may be brought to your children through all this... I know its not easy.. this is the hardest thing you will ever do.
Apply the blood every day, declare God's word over you and activate his angles to carry it out!
Learn to praise and worship in the hardest times, worship carries power and worship defeats the enemy!
Im in prayer for you both.

With respect,
Ara Hunt

The Source of Abundant Joy

"In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37)

These things are the things that might seem likely to separate a saint from the love of God. But the remarkable thing is that nothing can come between the love of God and a saint. These things can and do disrupt the close fellowship of our soul with God and separate our natural life from Him. But none of them is able to come between the love of God and the soul of a saint on the spiritual level. The underlying foundation of the Christian faith is the undeserved, limitless miracle of the love of God that was exhibited on the Cross of Calvary; a love that is not earned and can never be... We are super-victors with a joy that comes from experiencing the very things which look as if they are going to overwhelm us.

Huge waves that would frighten an ordinary swimmer produce a tremendous thrill for the surfer who has ridden them. Let's apply that to our own circumstances. The things we try to avoid and fight against - tribulation, suffering, and persecution - are the very things that produce abundant joy in us. "We are more than conquerors through Him" "in all these things"; not in spite of them, but in the midst of them. A saint doesn't know the joy of the Lord in spite of tribulation, but because of it. Paul said, "I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation" (2 Corinthians 7:4)

The undiminished radiance, which is the result of abundant joy, is not built on anything passing, but on the love of God that nothing can change. And the experiences of life, whether they are everyday events or terrifying ones, are powerless to "separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

It's hard to think of joy when you are in the middle of the storm, but when it's over there will be jubilation! You are loved...

Sheri,

Ara Hunt asked me to pray for you and your family, and I have done so. I lost a someone I loved very much to cancer in January, and seeing what she went through makes my heart ache and break for you and your boys. Have courage, my dear sister, for He has overcome for us.

Bless you, Brenna

I do not know Ara Hunt, but I agree with her comments 100%.

I believe this is a spiritual battle for Steve's life; but know that there is a great army of prayer wariors, many people you don't even know, that are going daily before God's thrown on your behalf.
